Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with a Project Manager to complete construction project objectives within time frames and available resources.
  • •Assist with planning and coordinating assigned projects by helping establish schedules, project parameters, tasks, estimates, dependencies, and milestones (including CPM and histogram analysis).
  • •Work with the engineering team to support engineering programming and material selection activities related to projects.
  • •Help establish and maintain operations budgets by revising estimates based on validated scope and monitoring cost at completion through expense management.
  • •Support subcontractor processes, including RFQ preparation, receiving/qualifying proposals, and helping supervise assigned staff, subcontractors, and installers.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the summer internship, preferably in Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or equivalent, and completed at least the sophomore/2nd year before start.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and building systems through coursework, projects, related groups, or hands-on exposure.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and provide proof of insurance, with no major/frequent traffic violations including DUI in the last 3 years.
  • •This role is designated as Safety Sensitive, which may require additional drug screening.
