Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop, implement, and manage acoustic test plans supporting new product development.
  • •Set up and perform acoustic measurements to debug and verify partner test plans and approaches.
  • •Track program progress to maintain schedules, mitigate risks, and meet objectives.
  • •Process and analyze build data with engineering tools to provide insights that improve test solutions and product quality.
  • •Lead communication with contract manufacturers to review, coach, and align test processes with Bose standards, including onsite travel and auditing builds.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years developing and implementing audio/acoustic manufacturing tests and troubleshooting test processes for high-volume consumer electronics production lines.
  • •Hands-on expertise in making acoustic measurements and minimizing sources of error.
  • •Strong test debugging skills with ability to root cause firmware and manufacturing test hardware/software/process issues.
  • •Knowledge of electrical engineering, test engineering, acoustics/audio measurements, and digital signal processing (FFT, filtering) including transducers and passive loudspeakers.
  • •Experience with automated defect detection (e.g., Rub and Buzz), lab equipment troubleshooting, and familiarity with Matlab, SoundCheck, Klippel, and TestStand.
