Job Summary

Lead and coach a team of Account Executives to position, expand, and close complex Search and GenAI infrastructure deals. Own a repeatable sales motion and whitespace prospecting strategy for the Elastic Search AI platform, while building sales plans, compensation structures, and customer segmentation. Drive quota attainment through disciplined pipeline management and forecasting, engage C-suite and technical communities, and collaborate closely with Solutions Architects, Product/Engineering, and Marketing to deliver seamless customer experiences.

•Manage, mentor, and coach a team of core Account Executives to position, expand, and close complex Search and GenAI infrastructure deals.
•Build, execute, and own a repeatable sales motion and whitespace prospecting strategy, including sales plan creation, compensation structures, and customer segmentation.
•Hit quotas by following sales methods and maintaining disciplined pipeline management and forecasting.
•Engage C-suite and technical communities by running strategic deal cycles and building trusted-advisor relationships.
•Partner across Elastic to ensure a seamless customer experience, working with Solutions Architects on PoCs and coordinating with Product/Engineering and Marketing.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience managing high-performing enterprise or commercial software sales teams, with a documented history of quota overachievement in complex sales cycles.
•Deep understanding of the technology landscape related to search infrastructure, vector search, generative AI, or related SaaS platforms.
•Analytical, data-driven operational discipline using a structured method for execution (e.g., MEDDPICC).
•Enthusiasm for an open-source or developer-centric infrastructure model and for engaging the broader technical community.
•Experience selling to engineering organizations (developers/architects) making build-vs-buy decisions, including understanding of the SDLC and buying cycle.
