Key Responsibilities

•Monitor material coming from the gang box saw, edger, and other assigned production areas.
•Sort good lumber/components from waste and redirect boards, cants, and larger pieces to the appropriate conveyance line.
•Help prevent bottlenecks, jams, mis-sorts, and material backup at major machine centers.
•Watch for quality issues, equipment problems, unsafe conditions, and abnormal material flow; report concerns promptly.
•Keep the work area clean and free of debris and tripping hazards while safely handling lumber around conveyors, saws, and forklifts.
