Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure required offshore project materials are transported, cleared, and delivered in compliance with country customs regulations and project requirements.
  • •Prepare, review, and submit customs-related documentation for import, export, and re-export of offshore materials, ensuring document accuracy and completeness.
  • •Maintain document control and records for UAE and other countries’ customs requirements; support audits and project reviews.
  • •Coordinate inspections and resolve customs queries, holds, or discrepancies with brokers, freight forwarders, port authorities, and government agencies.
  • •Track temporary import files and prepare re-export documentation for offshore equipment/tools, preventing customs penalties through timely closure and compliance with re-export timelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in a related field, or equivalent; OR Secondary School Certificate with a discipline-specific Technical Qualification, or equivalent.
  • •Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role and industry; OR minimum 6 years of relevant experience in similar roles and industries.
  • •Must be familiar with offshore operations logistics procedures, especially KSA and international rules and regulations (e.g., SABER, SASO, COOs requirements).
  • •Proficient in classifying products using the Harmonized System (HS) Code to ensure accurate customs declaration and compliance.
  • •Advanced written and spoken English skills and advanced communication skills.
