Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a trusted cyber security advisor to business and technology teams, providing practical guidance on managing cyber risk.
  • •Support secure delivery of projects by identifying risks early and recommending proportionate security controls.
  • •Assess the design and effectiveness of key security controls and work with control owners to strengthen them.
  • •Conduct and support cyber risk assessments across systems, applications, suppliers, and business processes.
  • •Prepare cyber risk and control reporting for senior stakeholders, governance forums, and audits, and contribute to continuous improvement of cyber risk management and third-party security practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience in cyber or information security risk management, governance, or assurance roles, ideally in large or complex organisations.
  • •Ability to assess and explain cyber risks in business terms to support informed decision-making.
  • •Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, building trusted relationships across teams and senior stakeholders.
  • •Good understanding of recognised cyber security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
