Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform material and device research to enhance thin-film solar cell performance and stability while reducing manufacturing cost.
  • •Design and optimize scalable synthetic routes; fabricate core layers and characterize materials/device properties.
  • •Prototype solar cell devices and conduct electrical and photophysical characterizations.
  • •Lead laboratory development engineering experiments and apply statistical/engineering methods to optimize material and stack performance.
  • •Support equipment/process activities (specifying, commissioning, qualifying, retrofitting where needed), troubleshoot challenges, and mentor/train team members as applicable.

Salary: USD 104,910 - 142,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s Degree (or similar technical discipline) with 15 years relevant experience, or Bachelor’s with 5 years, or Master’s with 3 years, or Ph.D. in an engineering discipline (as described).
  • •Expert knowledge in solution-based perovskites fabrication and/or scalable wet coating processes such as spray coating, slot die, blade coat, or inkjet print.
  • •Working knowledge of selective thin film processes (ALD, CVD, PVD, thermal evap, dry/wet etch, laser scribing, lamination) and device integration.
  • •Experience with reliability and accelerated testing.
  • •Hands-on laboratory execution of experiments with strong analytical skills to interpret data and troubleshoot process/equipment challenges.
