Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker II focused on consultative sales and relationship building for consumer and small business customers. Build customer profiles using Financial Needs Assessment, recommend retail deposit/loan/fee-based solutions, and proactively schedule financial reviews using CAMP and marketing tools. Cross-sell, support outside sales/community events, partner with business teams (Mortgage/Small Business/Commercial/Investment), and meet production goals while following risk, ethics, and confidentiality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 4-8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in Operations and Sales & Service and achieve certification for the Retail Personal Banker II role.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Recommend retail consumer and small business products/services and promote deposits, loans, and fee-based services while retaining customers.
•Proactively reach out to customers using CAMP and approved marketing tools to set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Provide holistic solutions by referring to and working with Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment), while meeting customer experience and production goals and maintaining confidentiality and ethical conduct.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills (or combination of education and experience).
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new and cross-sell to established consumer and small business customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to professionally represent the bank through appearance and verbal/written communication.
•Must be able to complete S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
