Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Own delivery of group consolidation for month-end and year-end, including review of BU submissions, intercompany elimination, and preparation of consolidated primary statements.
  • •Prepare analytical review of the group position monthly and coordinate the production timetable for the Group Annual Report, including notes and disclosures.
  • •Act as the day-to-day contact for external auditors on group reporting, coordinating audit requests, resolving queries, and tracking findings to closure.
  • •Monitor business unit reporting for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Group Accounting Policies, escalating issues and working with BU and Regional Controllers to resolve them.
  • •Lead, develop, and manage the group reporting team, maintaining and improving reporting timetable, controls, and documentation, including user acceptance testing for OneStream.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified and a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA or CPA).
  • •Post-qualification experience in group reporting or consolidation within a large multinational group.
  • •Demonstrable experience preparing consolidated financial statements and an Annual Report under IFRS.
  • •Working knowledge of a consolidation system such as Oracle FCCS, OneStream, HFM or SAP BPC, with experience handling large reporting data sets.
  • •Experience coordinating with external auditors through an annual audit cycle and line managing or supervising a small team.
