Key Responsibilities

•Lead and deliver EC&I design and engineering within the department, ensuring high standards and compliance with nuclear regulations.
•Produce, review, and approve design documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, instrument datasheets, and system specifications.
•Provide design substantiation and support for safety cases, design reviews, and regulatory submissions.
•Check and approve work from other engineers and designers, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
•Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering technical growth and capability within the EC&I team.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of an engineering qualification (HNC level) and a relevant engineering degree is preferred
•Chartered Engineering status or progression toward chartership
•Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects on time and within budget
•Knowledge of Health and Safety in Design and UK regulatory requirements for nuclear projects
•Experience with electrical building services, control and instrumentation design, and design substantiation
