Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage, develop and grow the centre's swimming lessons programme, ensuring high-quality delivery and strong customer retention
  • •Lead, support and mentor a team of qualified swimming teachers, including recruitment, rotas, performance management and ongoing development
  • •Coordinate staffing and programmes to meet customer demand, operational requirements and financial targets
  • •Develop and introduce new courses and sessions, including intensive and school swimming programmes, to meet community needs
  • •Build strong relationships with customers, schools and local partners to support outreach, engagement and programme growth

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 9,029.08 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Swim England Level 2 or STA Level 2 Award Swim Teacher qualification
  • •NPLQ qualification or NRASTC (full training can be provided)
  • •Experience managing or supervising teams within a busy leisure or aquatic environment
  • •Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build trust with children, parents and colleagues
  • •Confidence using IT systems, including booking platforms, Outlook and Excel
