Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and deploy state-of-the-art ML algorithms for open-world object manipulation using physical hardware.
  • •Drive manipulation learning data engineering, including data collection, curation, annotation, and synthetic/real data strategy.
  • •Own the development cycle from simulation prototyping to robust model transfer and fine-tuning on the robot.
  • •Identify and prioritize performance bottlenecks across classical vision causes (calibration, geometry, sensor fusion) and model/data causes.
  • •Foster technical rigor by setting architectural excellence and mentoring robotics leaders.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years shipping machine learning models on robotic systems in production environments.
  • •Expertise developing models including CNNs, transformers, and VLAs for robotic manipulation.
  • •Proficiency in Python, C++, and PyTorch, with experience building real-time robotic software stacks.
  • •Experience with data collection, annotation, and synthetic data generation for ML.
  • •Familiarity with 6D pose estimation, camera calibration/extrinsics, point cloud processing, and visual-servoing.
