Key Responsibilities

•Support business expansion and legal issues related to a globalized workforce in a federally regulated bank.
•Conduct legal research and translate legal advice into practical business terms.
•Advise on new and upcoming legislation and regulatory expectations.
•Develop legal guidance and tools to help business partners operate in complex legal areas.
•Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including third-party agreements requiring familiarity with OSFI B10 Guidelines.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 157,400 - 179,600 annually

Key Requirements

•A law degree (LLB or JD) from an accredited law school and a license to practice in Ontario.
•5+ years of experience gained in private practice, government, or in-house.
•Knowledge of the business and regulatory environment where the company operates in Canada.

•Ability to manage a large volume of complex legal work with minimal supervision.
