Job Summary

Lead Raytheon GEM-T manufacturing engineering for Patriot production, driving day-to-day technical problem solving and continuous improvement. Own and review Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, and tool/fixture designs. Provide real-time support to manufacturers and the supply base during troubleshooting and engineering-change incorporation, using manufacturing systems (including Microsoft and SAP) and CORE/data-driven methods to improve cycle time, quality, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a technical lead for Patriot GEM-T Manufacturing Engineering, supporting a team of manufacturing engineers.
•Drive manufacturing technical problem solving in support of manufacturing operations.
•Develop, maintain, and review Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, and tool/fixture designs.
•Support manufacturing areas via cross-functional teamwork to troubleshoot processes and incorporate engineering changes into MDPs.
•Use manufacturing systems and software (including Microsoft and SAP applications) to maintain production-relevant information and perform basic data analysis to identify quality trends.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
•5+ years of manufacturing experience.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required to be eligible for a security clearance.
•Detailed working knowledge of CMES, PRISM and PDM.
•Experience using technical drawing interpretation and GD&T, plus configuration management practices and applicable military/industry standards.
