Job Summary

Own the brand and communications function for an early-stage agentic AI startup, building positioning and narrative from scratch and scaling it across campaigns, channels, and touchpoints. Lead PR and earned media strategy end to end, drive founder/executive visibility through content and events, and hire and grow a brand & comms team. Partner closely with founders, Sales, and Product to shape go-to-market messaging and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

•Own positioning and voice, turning them into a scalable brand system across campaigns, channels, and touchpoints.
•Conceive and run brand campaigns from the big idea through assets and channel execution.
•Set editorial vision and voice guidelines to keep content on-brand as the company scales.
•Lead PR and communications end to end: media strategy, press relationships, proactive pitching, and reactive response.
•Build and scale the brand & comms function by hiring/growing the team and partnering with founders, Sales, and Product on go-to-market.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in comms, PR, brand, content, editorial, journalism, or founder/executive visibility (or a portfolio strong enough to replace years).
•Track record of earned media and/or founder thought leadership, including placements, bylines, or voices you built.
•Strong media instincts and, ideally, relationships; comfortable pitching stories yourself.
•Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating range and a distinct voice, including positioning and published work.
•Excellent written English and a high editorial standard.
