Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely load and unload cargo onto and/or from trucks and rail cars and into and/or from containers using lift trucks.
  • •Transfer cargo for storage in warehouses for further transfer onto rail cars or land transportation.
  • •Coordinate and complete required documentation and reports related to transfers.
  • •Participate in upkeep and maintenance of equipment and related gear.
  • •Follow safety and operational procedures, attend safety/environmental training and daily briefings, and promptly report unsafe conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED is required.
  • •Demonstrate good workplace attendance, compliance with policy, and willingness to work overtime while performing safe, quality-conscious work.
  • •Previous experience in an industry related to cargo transportation is preferred.
  • •Must meet criteria to maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) and obtain/maintain MTSA security clearance.
  • •Complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen upon offer.
