Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide advice to the business on overall business risk aspects for business development, new products, and platform projects.
  • •Ensure the business remains within risk appetite by pre-empting emerging risks and analyzing lessons learned from past incidents.
  • •Establish and maintain risk management and controls in Investments and Wealth Solutions by assessing operational risks and reviewing control procedures.
  • •Coordinate timely recording and reporting of management self-identified issues and incidents, including management action plans.
  • •Drive continuous control monitoring and ad-hoc reviews, act as BIRO for Group policy compliance, and support risk governance meeting reporting to senior management.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
  • •Relevant experience in banking, with exposure to risk control and relevant qualification.
  • •Sound knowledge of retail and wealth products, investment markets, products and regulations, operational risk management, and/or financial crime compliance.
  • •Strong business sense and self-motivation, with good communication, logical thinking, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • •Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
