Key Responsibilities

  • •Run new category bets through defined gates from market research to first suppliers and first GMV, with win/kill metrics set upfront.
  • •Travel to sourcing markets to visit suppliers, graders, and rag houses and secure the best stock for new flows.
  • •Onboard brands, brokers, graders, and wholesalers, then convert Fleek’s existing buyers to transact on the new inventory.
  • •Make evidence-based kill calls and double down decisions using unit economics and competitive landscape.
  • •Own early operational setup for each flow, including importer-of-record structures, duties, freight cost, and last-mile logistics.

Key Requirements

  • •Have built something from nothing in a zero-to-one environment (founder, early employee, or launched a new line) without a playbook.
  • •Be an operator with strong commercial instincts, comfortable being measured on GMV quickly.
  • •AI fluency: work with agents and automations daily and prefer building workflows to repeating tasks.
  • •Have an instinct for physical goods—understand inventory, margins, and trading relationships (or prior fashion/resale/marketplace exposure).
  • •Show evidence of structuring deals that didn’t exist before and have exposure to cross-border trade, logistics, or supply chain operations.
