Key Responsibilities

•Travel in the field and on job sites, and work in the shop as needed (CDL a plus).
•Troubleshoot and maintain heavy equipment including dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, and rollers.
•Examine equipment and discuss with superintendent, operator, or project manager the nature and extent of damage or malfunction.
•Plan work procedures and/or possible solutions including part redesign, part/material substitution, or rearrangement of parts/subassemblies.
•Ensure engagement of the equipment team in safety best practices and compliance with company policies and safety rules.
