Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and maintain Linux-based systems and servers, including installing, configuring, updating, and hardening Linux operations systems and software applications.
  • •Ensure system security by implementing firewall and intrusion detection measures and regularly applying security patches.
  • •Collaborate with VMware VCenter and VMware Horizon administrators to support Linux platforms hosting critical VMware applications and services.
  • •Create Ansible scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency while reducing manual workload.
  • •Maintain system documentation, stay current on Linux vulnerabilities and emerging technologies, and assist with infrastructure projects such as server migrations and upgrades.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 125,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •High school with 9+ years (or commensurate experience) in IT support or a related role.
  • •Clearance Required: TS/SCI.
  • •DoD 8140 certification Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent).
  • •Strong experience with enterprise Linux distributions (RHEL preferred) plus configuration management (Ansible preferred).
  • •Strong knowledge of security best practices, system hardening, and compliance frameworks (STIGs, NIST, etc.).
