Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the security program end to end, including strategy, architecture, policies, risk management, operating cadence, and a prioritized roadmap.
  • •Partner with SRE and engineers to design, implement, and operate secure cloud and infrastructure foundations (e.g., access controls, vulnerability management, logging, incident readiness).
  • •Improve application and product security through secure design, threat modeling, security reviews, testing, and remediation guidance.
  • •Lead security assurance activities such as third-party risk, security awareness, audits, and compliance efforts including SOC 2 with a controls-focused approach.
  • •Coach and enable engineers and business partners, communicate security vision and tradeoffs to executives, and drive shift-left security integration into the SDLC.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated experience owning significant parts of an information security program and delivering both strategic improvements and hands-on technical work.
  • •Broad security experience across cloud, infrastructure, application, data, identity, and corporate environments, with depth in several domains.
  • •Experience working closely with SRE, platform, and software engineering teams to build security into operational practices and delivery workflows.
  • •Strong technical judgment in security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, security architecture, and risk-based prioritization.
  • •Experience communicating security strategy, risk, and delivery status to executive audiences with a collaborative player/coach mindset.
