Job Summary

Lead SDET and testing quality efforts across a new team, partnering with feature delivery groups to ensure strong test practices and coverage. Own and contribute to test strategy, plans, and execution across multiple applications, including performance testing. Extend and improve existing test automation frameworks, guide automated test development, and collaborate with product and development to embed a culture of quality. Create comprehensive test plans/cases, and coordinate testing activities in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead testing and quality efforts for a new team in collaboration with feature delivery groups, ensuring appropriate practices and processes are followed.
•Develop and review test strategies and test plans to achieve proper test coverage across features, including performance testing.
•Oversee and improve the existing test automation framework, guiding the team in developing automated tests.
•Work with product and development to build a culture of quality; act as a subject matter expert on the domain and supported applications.
•Review requirements/user stories/specifications and create structured test plans and test cases; estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing in Agile; execute automation scripts and manage bug regression.

Key Requirements

•Experience in end-to-end testing for web UI applications, APIs, and database automation testing.
•Expertise in automation testing with WebdriverIO (TypeScript) and Cypress (JavaScript), plus Playwright (JavaScript) for automation and manual testing.
•Proficiency with Hybrid and BDD frameworks and strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
•Strong database fundamentals, including SQL/database querying, and familiarity with ETL and data migration testing.
•Ability to manage testing activities in an Agile environment, including creating test plans/cases from requirements and specifications.
