Key Responsibilities

•Own and evolve system architecture across the platform to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
•Partner with engineering and product teams to design systems that balance delivery speed with long-term flexibility.
•Lead key technical decisions, managing trade-offs across performance, cost, and complexity.
•Translate ambiguous business/product needs into clear technical approaches and system designs.
•Identify architectural gaps, technical debt, and scaling bottlenecks, and drive proactive solutions while mentoring teams.

Key Requirements

•20+ years of software engineering experience with deep system design and architecture expertise.
•Proven experience designing and evolving distributed or scalable systems.
•Broad AWS cloud architecture experience, including implementing complex data plane and control plane systems.
•Comfort going deep technically while influencing broadly across teams.
•Cross-functional experience with product, engineering, and business stakeholders, with strong communication skills.
