Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor guests in the water to ensure smooth, safe delivery of the experience at Yas Waterworld.
  • •Respond to emergencies, maintain rescue and basic life support competency, and keep skills at required “test ready” levels.
  • •Operate rides and attractions as required, including following ride dispatch and guest safety procedures.
  • •Ensure guest, colleague, and contractor safety at all times while working at heights, in water, and in extreme outdoor temperatures.
  • •Assist with guest directions and instructions, attend ongoing training, and perform other duties as directed by management.

Key Requirements

  • •20/25 vision (corrected or uncorrected) and the ability to swim at least 50 meters non-stop using front crawl or breaststroke.
  • •Swim underwater at a depth of 1.4 meters for 3 meters and retrieve a 10-pound brick.
  • •Maintain test-ready lifeguard skills under the International Lifeguard Training Program (or equivalent).
  • •Basic spoken English proficiency; ability to work nights, evenings, and/or holidays.
  • •Desirable: International Lifeguard Training Program (or similar), previous lifeguard or guest service experience; UAE Driver’s License/Buggy License; SCUBA certification.
