Own and manage the product backlog for next-generation Building Automation Systems, translating business, customer, and technical inputs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Key Responsibilities

•Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog aligned with product strategy, customer needs, business priorities, and technical dependencies.
•Translate requirements into actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
•Lead Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and ongoing release management.
•Partner with Product Managers, Engineering, Architecture, QA, and UX to drive successful product outcomes.
•Define MVPs and ensure backlog readiness, delivery quality, and validation of completed features prior to release.

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Owner in Agile software delivery environments.
•Demonstrated experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), Building Management Systems (BMS), Industrial IoT, HVAC controls, energy management systems, or smart building technologies.
•Strong understanding of building automation protocols and integrations including BACnet/IP, Modbus, MQTT, APIs, and connected control platforms.
•Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for backlog management, sprint planning, refinement, user story development, and release tracking.
•Ability to define MVPs and break down complex initiatives into deliverable increments that deliver measurable business value.
