Key Responsibilities

  • •Counsel customers on retirement planning, tax planning, education planning, income management, risk management, suitability, and investment objectives.
  • •Adhere to Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI) and act as a fiduciary in all advisory relationships.
  • •Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development, networking, and partnerships with internal lines of business.
  • •Purchase and sell securities as needed to meet customer needs and respond to changing objectives.
  • •Develop and maintain a personal business plan and educate/engage local branch team members to support referrals and meet individual sales goals.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline (preferred).
  • •Minimum of five years of experience in the investment services industry.
  • •FINRA registrations including Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65 in lieu of Series 66).
  • •State of Virginia life insurance and annuities licenses.
  • •AWMA or CFP designations preferred.
