Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the technical implementation of the organization’s AI strategy and define AI engineering standards, patterns, and best practices.
  • •Design scalable AI/ML and Generative AI architectures, including RAG and enterprise integration patterns, with architecture governance and design reviews.
  • •Build and oversee AI-powered applications and services, leading proof-of-concepts, pilots, and production implementations in collaboration with Agile teams.
  • •Establish CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices to improve technical quality, performance, and operational resilience.
  • •Ensure responsible AI practices through governance, monitoring, auditability, risk assessment (bias, security, privacy, ethics), and regulatory adherence with partner teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong software engineering background with experience delivering AI, machine learning, or Generative AI solutions.
  • •Experience with Azure AI Services/Azure OpenAI (knowledge of AWS AI or Google Vertex AI is also required).
  • •Hands-on experience with Python, APIs, microservices, cloud-native architecture, and data platforms/data engineering concepts.
  • •Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain or Semantic Kernel), and model evaluation.
  • •Demonstrable technical leadership experience, including leading technical teams and influencing stakeholders; must undergo UK Security Clearance (SC).
