Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and supervise day-to-day sanitation of equipment and facility.
  • •Develop and document cleaning procedures (e.g., SSOPs, cleaning logs) and protect products during sanitation.
  • •Train, plan, assign, and direct sanitation workers; supervise, motivate, and administer performance appraisals.
  • •Ensure compliance with safety rules, company GMPs, food safety/quality specs, and maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • •Coordinate sanitation activities with R&D/Quality Assurance and Maintenance; work with management and chemical suppliers on process improvements to reduce costs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • •HACCP certification preferred.
  • •2+ years in a similar role, with 2+ years of manufacturing experience in the food manufacturing industry and required food industry sanitation experience.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • •Ability to read/interpret MSDS, safety rules, and procedure manuals; write reports; and compute rates/ratios/percentages for cleaning chemicals.
