Job Summary

Deliver enterprise patch management and OS image deployment using HCL BigFix. Own BigFix Patch and BigFix Lifecycle OSD workflows to enforce patch policies, manage compliance across Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and Linux, and run phased rollouts with troubleshooting and reporting. Maintain BigFix Relay/server health, author automations and BRL/Action Scripts, and support Patch Tuesday, out-of-band, and zero-day emergency patching. Provide secondary support for SCCM/Microsoft Intune.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, configure, and manage HCL BigFix Patch operations: patch policies, patch windows, exception processes, custom Fixlets/Baselines/Tasks, and compliance monitoring.
•Manage OS deployment using BigFix Lifecycle OSD: build and version master images, configure WinPE and task sequences, integrate driver management/application layering, and support bare-metal deployments, refresh, and migration.
•Maintain BigFix infrastructure health: manage Relay hierarchy, monitor Root Server/Relay performance and replication/content delivery, and perform maintenance, cleanup, and upgrades.
•Automate and extend workflows using PowerShell/Batch scripts, BigFix Action Script, and BRL for targeting, inventory gathering, and compliance checks; generate patch compliance reports and dashboards via WebUI/REST API/SQL.
•Handle troubleshooting and incident response for patch and imaging failures, coordinate with security teams for vulnerability remediation, and support Patch Tuesday, out-of-band, and zero-day emergency patching with 24/7 coverage for Sev 1/2 events.

Key Requirements

•7-8 years of enterprise endpoint management experience with strong specialization in HCL BigFix patch management and OS image deployment.
•Expertise delivering end-to-end patch management with HCL BigFix Patch, including Fixlets, Baselines, Tasks, and patch policy/window and exception management.
•Experience building and managing OS deployment workflows using HCL BigFix Lifecycle OSD, including WinPE, task sequences, profiles, and multicast delivery.
•Strong proficiency in PowerShell and Batch scripting, plus BigFix BRL and Action Script authoring for targeting, inventory, and compliance checks.
•Proven troubleshooting skills for patch and imaging failures, plus reporting using BigFix WebUI, REST API, and SQL-based queries.
