Job Summary

Architect and automate next-generation cloud infrastructure as part of the SRE Cloud Infrastructure & Operations team. You’ll oversee containerized systems using EKS and GKE, lead scalable observability and incident management, and continuously tune Linux/BSD environments. Partner cross-functionally to reduce toil, improve reliability through data-driven decisions, and support secure, highly available distributed services at Zscaler.

•Own cloud operations, deployments, on-call support, and incident management while tuning Linux and BSD-based systems.
•Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and consult on feasibility for new initiatives.

•Minimum 7 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
•Deep hands-on experience with C, Java, GoLang, Python, Terraform, Ansible, networking, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud.
•Comprehensive understanding of web security and core protocols including HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, SQL, and networking fundamentals.
•Proven observability experience building dashboards and managing Grafana, with knowledge of SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
•Strong DevOps skills across CI/CD pipelines, source control management (SCM), builds/releases, and continuous integration tools.
