Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on-site, addressing electrical hazards and isolating/grounding circuits to enable repairs. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to install, calibrate, and maintain electrical apparatus, including motor control centers, switchgear, protective relays, and control panels. Install and maintain conduit, wiring, PLC systems, and drive systems (VFDs/DC drives), using test equipment and computerized maintenance systems to document work and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and address electrical hazards by safely isolating, grounding, and preparing circuits and electrical apparatus for repairs.
•Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, generators, high voltage switchgear, protective relaying, and related equipment.
•Read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals to install, calibrate, and maintain electrical apparatus, including conduit installation and wiring termination.
•Install and maintain control and distribution apparatus (switches, relays, circuit breakers, control panels) and drive systems (variable frequency drives, eddy current, DC drives).
•Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC systems and control instruments; document actions and maintain a safe, clean working environment using test equipment and CMMS.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 35 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•3-5 years of electrical industrial maintenance experience.
•Journeyman’s License or equivalent degree preferred.
•Proficient reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
•Experience troubleshooting PLCs and the ability to work overtime as needed.
