Mechanical Engineer (Starlink Optical)

Own development of major mechanical subsystems for the Starlink optical hardware platform—from requirements and design through prototyping and production ramp. Drive precision electro-mechanical assemblies with rigorous tolerance control, and make design-for-manufacturability and automation decisions. Identify mechanical risks early, define validation strategies, maintain detailed engineering documentation (including GD&T), and support root-cause investigations across prototype, validation, and production.
