Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a role model and coach crew members on safety, productivity, communications, and work ethics.
  • •Supervise safe construction work for distribution and transmission systems and enforce safety rules and procedures.
  • •Perform the duties of a journeyman in the applicable classification (when collective bargaining agreement language applies).
  • •Plan work to eliminate barriers, maximize resources, reduce costs, and manage vehicles/tools/equipment.
  • •Complete and oversee required paperwork (e.g., mapping, timekeeping, safety reports, tailgate forms) and act as liaison with customers/contractors.
