Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver quality nursing care with a multi-professional team and provide leadership and coordination for nursing teams.
  • •Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
  • •Facilitate a positive client experience by creating a conducive environment.
  • •Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
  • •Create a learning environment that builds staff competence and ensure stock/equipment is accurately charted.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse, or a 4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing.
  • •Basic life support training, including ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (as applicable to specialised wards).
  • •Ability to develop and modify a nursing care plan and follow nursing processes and procedures.
  • •Strong patient assessment skills, including risk identification and risk management.
  • •Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and accurate nursing record keeping.
