Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide full-spectrum doula support for birth and postpartum care.
  • •Participate in Loula’s partnership process by completing the interest form and screening.
  • •Deliver exceptional care while Loula manages Medicaid enrollment, credentialing, insurance verification, medical billing, and payment in California.
  • •Engage with client referrals and matching through Loula rather than cold outreach.
  • •Build and maintain your own independent practice within Loula’s non-exclusive network.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100 - 134 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Completed 16 hours of birth doula training and attended 3 births as a doula, OR have 5 years of doula experience with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
  • •Be located in California and/or meet the minimum qualifications to move forward with an introductory meeting.
