Job Summary

Own daily credit and collections activities within adidas’ GBS Credit and Collections team, including timely dunning and collection of open receivables, accurate cash application, and dispute tracking until resolution. Support credit risk assessment, credit block release recommendations, provision insights for uncollectable balances, and process improvements. Serve as an escalation point, back up the Team Leader, and ensure strong financial controls and updated desktop procedures in line with policy.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure timely collection of open receivables by working with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve non-payment causes.
•Accurately receive and allocate payments, and follow up on discrepancies within a reasonable timeframe.
•Manage escalations with proactive feedback and recommended solutions aligned to department policy.
•Back up the Team Leader for complex operational situations, and guide/train other team members.
•Lead or support short-term finance operations projects, including periodic reviews to identify and mitigate risks to success.

Key Requirements

•University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a similar field.
•5+ years of relevant work experience in accounting or corporate finance.
•Broad and deep theoretical understanding of the job function.
•Solid experience with SAP and Excel.
•Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business environment.
