Key Responsibilities

  • •Design mechanical parts, components, and assemblies for new consumer devices using 3D CAD (NX).
  • •Create 2D engineering drawings and define specifications and tolerances while partnering with overseas vendors to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • •Design and run experiments, using engineering analysis and test results to drive design decisions.
  • •Evaluate materials and manufacturing processes, including design tradeoffs, to develop robust and scalable solutions.
  • •Build, test, troubleshoot, and iterate prototypes and support the transition from prototype to production with manufacturing and vendor partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Recently completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Product Design Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •Experience using 3D CAD software (Siemens NX preferred) to design mechanical components and assemblies.
  • •Hands-on experience building, prototyping, and testing mechanical designs.
  • •Strong understanding of fundamental mechanical engineering principles and the ability to apply them to open-ended design challenges.
  • •Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
