Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate emerging technologies and future data centre architectures, including AI infrastructure, power systems, cooling, digital infrastructure, and grid integration.
  • •Assess technical readiness and engineering feasibility of future technologies and support proof-of-concept and innovation programmes.
  • •Apply engineering principles to validate future system concepts through engineering studies, technical assessments, and technology evaluations.
  • •Ensure validated concepts are technically robust, practical, and deployable, and support transition into future engineering standards and methodologies.
  • •Provide technical leadership by supporting Global Solutions Architects, engaging partners/standards bodies/industry forums, and producing technical and white papers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; Master’s preferred.
  • •Chartered Engineer (preferred).
  • •Minimum 10 years’ experience in mission critical infrastructure, power systems, or data centre engineering.
  • •Strong engineering competency in electrical infrastructure, power distribution, and integrated systems.
  • •Ability to evaluate emerging technologies using sound engineering judgment; excellent analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
