Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling to eligible children and youth, including assessment, brief counseling/consultation, action planning, referrals, and follow-up.
  • •Support DoDEA and community schools, summer camps (if assigned), and provide parent training and guidance.
  • •Deliver training and health/wellness presentations, participate in health fairs, and support base/installation activities for children and youth.
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone or web application to support accurate reporting while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity.
  • •Follow DoD duty-to-warn/restricted reporting protocols, communicate with supervisors through supervision, respond to critical incidents/special requests, and participate in training and quality improvement initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health related field (Behavioral Health or Social Work).
  • •Valid, unrestricted independent counseling license that authorizes independent counseling practice.
  • •Minimum two years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • •Demonstrate intermediate technology and software competencies (e.g., Microsoft Suite, smartphone/tablet and web app navigation, video-conferencing platform navigation).
  • •Prove US citizenship and be fluent in English; pass CNACI clearance and an Installation Records Check plus criminal history/FBI fingerprints; maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license unless waived.
