Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee input, peer review, verification of geotechnical data and analyses, and design calculations.
  • •Provide consultative advice to external partners across the project lifecycle, from site selection and optioneering through design and construction.
  • •Manage or oversee geotechnical projects, including planning and developing schedules, coordination, and delivery against objectives, programme, and budget.
  • •Lead and support the Ground Engineering team to deliver projects to time, quality, and client expectations.
  • •Maintain industry presence and build relationships to support a pipeline of business opportunities; mentor and develop junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology/Geology with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or higher.
  • •Chartered status.
  • •Strong knowledge of UK ground conditions and ground investigation practices.
  • •Demonstrable understanding of current design codes, standards, and best practices in geotechnical design.
  • •Ability to collaborate on project delivery, work winning, and maintain client satisfaction, including networking in local, regional, and national markets.
