Key Responsibilities

  • •Deepen understanding of product design engineering concepts, practices, and methods.
  • •Under supervision, perform standard design tasks and produce designs for parts and subassemblies.
  • •Conduct dimensioning tasks, learn GD&T concepts, and perform daily tolerance stack-ups.
  • •Assist with design prototyping and jig development, and support planning and cost estimation for parts and materials.
  • •Summarize project progress, prepare status updates (including for customers), and conduct post-project evaluations while learning tools and department design standards.
