Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning in line with the school’s Teaching and Learning Policy.
  • •Set clear teaching and learning objectives and targets, building on prior attainment.
  • •Identify SEN, EAL and G&T students and differentiate instruction to meet needs.
  • •Use assessment for learning and performance data to inform planning and deliver differentiated lessons.
  • •Maintain discipline per the school’s Behaviour for Learning Policy, mark work regularly, keep records, and prepare reports for parents.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • •Teaching experience in English National Curriculum
  • •Experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum
  • •Proven success teaching across the age ability range
  • •Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD)
