Schedule theatre cases to ensure correct booking, optimal utilisation of theatres, and accurate ward and bed allocation. Distribute theatre lists timeously to relevant parties, load bookings and theatre cases, and maintain the theatre schedule using patient administration systems such as AS400. Apply clinical coding knowledge up to level 1 (e.g., identifying appropriate procedure codes) and support efficient patient/booking theatre time allocation.
