Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing, and rating guidelines.
  • •Steer and control the local portfolio to achieve financial targets.
  • •Liaise with functional areas to review end-to-end underwriting performance and life cycle.
  • •Partner with Sales and Claims to achieve marketing strategies, including cross-selling.
  • •Support new or modified product development and acquisition/retention of business through agent and broker negotiations.

  • •4-8 years of proven experience underwriting profitable Property (PD/BI and Theft) and Liability for corporate clients.

  • •Knowledge of pricing with strong market analysis skills.
  • •Proven leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong communication; fluent in Italian and English.
