Job Summary

Manage collections for a customer portfolio by using collection software tools to reduce receivable delinquency and improve DSO. Respond accurately to customer inquiries, billing and payment issues, disputes, and program changes. Proactively contact customers on past-due receivables, recommend credit-hold decisions, monitor credit line compliance, and support credit decisions with DNB reports. Promote and negotiate automated and pre-payment options.

•Contact customers about past-due receivables, determine reasons for non-payment, and decide on credit holds when needed; handle related phone support.
•Monitor an assigned customer portfolio to mitigate loss exposure by ensuring compliance with approved credit lines; recommend and prepare changes and over-line approvals.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma required; BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or another business degree preferred.
•1-3 years of experience in collections or a customer service role (manufacturing industry preferred).
•Experience related to risk analysis and receivable collection is a plus.
•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal teams, sales representatives, commercial offices, plants, and customers.
•PC literacy and basic Microsoft Office literacy required.
