Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the facility has a safety management system that complies with state and federal regulations and meets good industrial practice.
  • •Develop, maintain, and continuously improve safety management system documents, systems, and procedures to prevent or minimise accidental exposures.
  • •Develop and facilitate audit programs to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the SMS.
  • •Evaluate HSE impacts of existing, new, and updated procedures and processes, ensuring adequate consideration during development and design.
  • •Prepare compliance reports for regulatory authorities as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree and experience in process engineering or similar roles.
  • •Extensive knowledge of production and repair processes.
  • •Extensive knowledge of products and their manufacturing or repair processes, including industrial management control.
  • •Basic knowledge of stock management and flow management methodologies.
  • •Experience implementing continuous improvement tools such as Lean flow management, PDCA, TPM, and conducting Gemba Walks.
