Key Responsibilities

•Implement and own the lifecycle of backend features, search orchestration layers, and data-indexing pipelines end-to-end.
•Participate in managing, scaling, and optimizing search cluster architecture for distributed systems at scale.
•Collaborate on throughput optimizations, sharding strategies, data consistency, and low-latency metrics for real-time data movement.
•Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and operational improvements to improve developer effectiveness.
•Maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices to support continuous deployment.

Key Requirements

•Solid foundational backend software engineering knowledge, typically using Java or similar object-oriented languages.
•Interest or foundational experience in large-scale data processing, partitioning, sharding, and real-time messaging workflows.
•Knowledge or direct experience with search technologies such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, and graph databases such as AWS Neptune.
•Understanding of production environments and a commitment to clean, maintainable, performant code supported by testing and monitoring.
•Ability to communicate technical updates clearly, actively seek feedback, and navigate technical ambiguity.
