Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect high-fidelity, secure network topologies using Cisco Modeling Labs and build data contracts and validation pipelines for AI training/evaluation provenance and integrity.
  • •Lead secure automation and integration of Cisco controllers (Nexus Dashboard, Catalyst Center, Intersight, Cisco HyperFabric) across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-native environments.
  • •Design, build, and test high-performance distributed software and set engineering standards for network programmability, cloud architecture, and simulation-driven workflows.
  • •Apply zero-trust principles, threat modeling, RBAC/IAM, and secrets management to secure controller integrations, simulation platforms, and data pipelines.
  • •Implement telemetry and monitoring for simulation performance and cloud infrastructure, and mentor peers through design reviews and knowledge sharing.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related) + 8 years experience, or Master’s in STEM + 6 years, or PhD in STEM + 3 years (or equivalent work experience).
  • •5+ years designing, developing, and testing production-grade software using modern languages such as Python, Go, C++, or Java.
  • •4+ years enterprise/datacenter networking protocol experience (TCP/IP, BGP, EVPN, VXLAN) plus network simulation/modeling platforms (Cisco Modeling Labs/CML, EVE-NG, or GNS3).
  • •3+ years cloud-native infrastructure and distributed systems architecture with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • •2+ years implementing secure software development lifecycle practices including threat modeling, RBAC, and secrets management.
