Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, and grow a manufacturing team aligned with company goals and roadmap.
  • •Operationalize the production facility end-to-end (site readiness, equipment, workflows, safety, and staffing).
  • •Build and maintain a manufacturing engineering org with design engineering to optimize manufacturability and own the NPI process.
  • •Collaborate with supply chain to drive COGS reduction through DFM feedback, process optimization, and yield improvement.
  • •Establish manufacturing processes and documentation (BOMs, drawings, part qualification, supplier quality) and own EHS compliance and safety culture.
Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 280,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Have 10+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in a manufacturing leadership role that includes standing up and operationalizing a production facility.
  • •Have brought complex electromechanical systems (including metal fabrication, rigging, or heavy machinery) from prototype to production.
  • •Be familiar with DFM, DFA, and/or GD&T, and have experience sourcing and qualifying suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • •Communicate clearly across engineers, suppliers, technicians, and leadership; demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
  • •Be based in or able to relocate to the SF Bay Area and work 4-5 days/week from the San Leandro HQ.
