Job Summary

Oversee the development, review, and updating of community policies to ensure alignment with government direction, legislation, and the community-development strategy for the Emirate of Dubai. Lead strategic and operational planning, budget preparation, KPI and impact measurement, risk tracking, and performance reporting. Manage and motivate staff, coordinate with relevant internal units and government committees, and design stakeholder engagement to ensure policies meet community needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise the development, review, and updating of community policies in line with strategic priorities and in coordination with relevant units.
•Prepare short-, medium-term operational plans, participate in defining policies and procedures, and drive necessary improvements.
•Prepare and monitor the annual budget for the section to ensure optimal usage aligned with financial policies.
•Lead staff and manage performance by setting objectives, tracking KPIs, reviewing outcomes, and recommending training and resource management.
•Coordinate high-level representation in government committees and oversee KPI measurement, reporting, risk register maintenance, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: AED 30,001 - 40,000 monthly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, or an equivalent qualification.
•10+ years of experience (or 8+ years if holding a relevant postgraduate degree).
•Master’s or PhD in a related field.
•Proven leadership, people management, and performance management to drive section objectives.
•Ability to develop and update policy frameworks, manage KPIs and data analysis, and coordinate stakeholder engagement to meet community needs.
